A parent sent out the following email to all the softball parents:

Is there going to be a game today? If they do not play when do they make up the game? We are new to this so I am not sure how it works.

I replied (to her only with a cc to the team manager) with the rain hotline number and mentioned that make-up games are typically scheduled later in the season.

I got this back:

Thank you for responding to ____'s question. As team manager and team mom I would prefer to handle these types of questions.

I'm probably overreacting and I don't care. Hrumph.

No, you're not. You were gracious & responded to the Mom and another Mom tried to slap you down. Don't lift a finger to help that cow even if you see her struggling with something. You did the right thing, User, both in responding and sending a copy of your response to the bitch cow.

The Bitch mom should have answered her faster if she didn't need your help. That would have pissed me off too User.

What fuckin difference does it make who tells her when the makeup games are? She asked YOU anyway, not the team mom. When my youngest wrestled, there was a mom like that, she pitched a bitch if anyone asked anyone a question besides her, she even had a special meeting about it, like it was life or death. That bitch drove us all crazy.

The last year my son played soccer we had a mumzilla. She would pace the sideline screaming at her daughter and her team. She encouraged her daughter to get her elbows out when jostling with another player and cheered her when she would dig them into the ribs or the face of boys on the opposing team. One particular day my son had had about enough of this shit and the said little bitchchild was dribbling the ball towards my son and he put his elbow out and caught her across the bridge of the nose and flattened her...

Well mumzilla starts screaming like a banshee, all the other parents cheer, including those of the kids on bitchchild's team and I'm standing there deciding whether to reprimand the son or cheer along. When mumzilla made a complaint, the ref, the parents and the other players all claimed they didn't see a thing...

Karma will fuck her up, just be patient...

Yayyy, Crash Jr.! This lady is fucking crazy. She wants the girls to get to the games at least 1 hour before they start so they can warm up. An hour? Really? She also wants them at practice 15 minutes before practice starts. Dumbass, why not just make the practice start 15 minutes earlier? And she says we need to be there at 6pm sharp to pick up our kids from practice....but practice may go on longer than that.

Jeebus, she'll probably embarrass us all and get kicked out of the game at some point. I've seen that happen to a crazy coach/parent on another team.

Actually, I do think you're overreacting.

If the Team Mom e-mailed you only (and not the rest of the mom's) with her request that she handle those quesions, then, yes, you're overreacting.

Whatever. She's obviously someone who takes her position very seriously and loves a power trip.
