I'm in a bit of a state of shock and wasn't really sure where I wanted to post but needed to get it out somewhere.

The husband and I found out we're expecting baby #2 on 11/27. I had my first ultrasound this morning.....



Surprise! Baby #2 and Baby #3......Holy Fuck!

Yayyyy! Twins are fun (after the first year or so). Congratulations!

ETA: I've never posted this but I was actually pregnant with triplets but one didn't make it (very early on). A woman at my kid's school has triplets. Jeebus.

Thanks. I'm thinking this may be my way of quitting my job! I'd be working to pay for daycare for two....I've been in a state of shock since we found out this morning.

I think it's awesome. You get a lot of benefits as they get older. Same school all the time, joint b-day parties for awhile etc. wishing you an easy pregnancy!

Congrats. Fun times ahead. I bet that was a shock. I know I was shocked when I found out I have having twins. I went in for lower abdominal pain and they did an utlrasound and Voila! Twins!

Thank you. I am diabetic so I'm instantly high risk. I'll most likely be living in doctor's offices the next 9 months. I took my 4 year old with me, he was thrilled. Then told me he wanted 15 babies haha Dream on kid!

Haha I actually hesitated on posting for that exact reason. I don't want to soup chicken this place up by any means. I didn't know if it'd be that popular or else I'd have started a new thread.

And yes I'll find out all I can. I'm totally OCD with planning and what not. Not much info currently as they technically aren't babies yet, just sacs with gestational sacs, so on their way to being babies.

Those triplets (and the shirts) are seriously adorable.

I guess the middle child isn't always overlooked; he's the only one who got socks. Mom probably shoulda put a pair on herself (damn you, never would have even noticed those toes myself).

It's funny how time erodes the bad memories parents have of those first 6 months or so (no sleep, crying/screaming bouts, etc) so that we will continue to procreate.

It really is a joy to be a parent (until they reach 6^th grade or so).

Could be. I can see him getting nail bruised by the car door while trying to juggle three car seats, three diaper bags, three kids and a wife. Or, just going a little nuts (in a good way) and deciding to exert his independence by painting the damn things black.
