Damn! We had that happen here a few yrs ago. Safe Pro came in and ran the fucking heater fans for a week. The ins. company only paid for the flooring but not the cabinets or the fucking wall it ruined. 106 That's sucks. Hope everything works out for you.

Crap Maggot, that sucks.

I got my hours at work cut down to part time, from 50-60 to 30-40. I knowm, 40 hours isn't technically part time, but when you work the hours I do, 40 hours a week is like a cake walk.

I'm sorry Maggot. I hope your home owners covers the damage.

I'm sorry, Maggot. Life really is a bitch and then you really do die. Hopefully your insurance pays for new cabinents and you live long enough to enjoy them.

Oh shit Maggot, that sucks big time!
But look on the brighter side, (if there is a brighter side) you could have been away on vacation for a week, & that happened. Then you would have come home to a hole in the ground cause your house would have floated away! hah
Shitty deal, Maggot.

Hope it works out well for you!
They cut holes in the walls and floors and shoved some pipes inside to dry the inside of the walls. There must be 10 huge fans and de-humidifiers going. The cabinet doors under the sink are all fucked up. The insurance lady is coming by on Wed to do a damage quote. I'm insured to 116,000 with a 500.00 deductable. Oh yeah the lino in the kitchen needs to come out. My spare bedroom rug is drenched and they carted that away today. All my pictures are spread all over the garage drying out and 12 of my books are no good. I may need a new bed in there as it was raining through the floor. I want to keep my piano but that will be decided later. My wife was bawling. I just finished that spare bedroom.
Poor Mrs. Maggot. I'm sorry. I hope insurance comes through for you.

I almost wish my kitchen would flood. The damn thing needs a remodel that bad.

That's exactly what happened to us. Ours wasn't quite as bad as yours. My kitchen is located just on the other side of the my 3rd bedroom closet. We lost alot of photos also. They told us the wall should dry out and be free of mold but i just noticed not long ago that there is some starting to grow. So I going to have to repair some walls in my home soon. Sucks you have to go through this. I know the feeling your poor wife is going through right now. sucks.
JsMom, Borax kills mold. Wash the walls with hot borax water, let it dry, then paint with that mold blocking paint.

Sorry, Maggot. That sucks. I had the ice maker line bust one time. Luckily it ran out the back of the fridge or the insurance company wasn't going to pay for it. Get estimates and a check and do some of the work yourself and hire your homeless buddies and make a profit on your disaster.

I see a $5K bed in your future. haha

Something like that kills paint? Also, the mold is in the drywall. Do you think me just washing the outside wall is going to stop it from spreading inside the drywall? I not sure about that. Smiley_emoticons_skeptisch

Yah if you do most of the work yourself you can stretch your money. That's what we did. I had my father and neighbor help me put in my new flooring.
How far did you let it go, dumbass? If it is just on the paper layer you can save it. If you let it eat into the drywall, you deserve to get sick.

Jeezus fuckin' christ! You're such a bitch. No I didn't let he eat up my fuckin' wall. It's just started as I stated above. All I did was ask a simple question from the Mock Know it all. 86

PORTLAND -- The Oregonian newspaper reported Monday that Bob Caldwell, the long-time editor of the editorial pages, died in the apartment of a 23-year-old woman after going into cardiac arrest following a sex act. Oops

The paper had previously reported that Caldwell was found in his parked car.

The paper now says the woman was the one who called 9-1-1 on Saturday to report that Caldwell was unresponsive. Beat_deadhorse

According to the correction published in The Oregonian, the woman told deputies she met Caldwell a year ago at Portland Community College and he provided cash for books and other school expenses, in exchange for sex. According to deputies quoted by the paper, no money was exchanged Saturday and therefore no prostitution charges would be filed.

Caldwell joined The Oregonian as a copy editor in 1983. Before taking his post at the head of the editorial section, he worked as a regional, metro and public editor for The Oregonian. He led the paper's editorial board since November 1995.

Caldwell, who was 63 years old, is survived by his wife WHO IS VERY PISSED OFF and three daughters WHO ARE QUITE EMBARRASSED.

If I were her, I'd spend the rest of my life proclaiming it was the best sex he ever had.
