They chopped off his leg that was bit to keep him alive and from turning into a zombie.
Well yes, I know, but if he dies from blood loss, infection, whatever, who will be the doctor? Will cutting off his leg stop the virus? Good grief, what if laurie needs a c-section? So much to think about.

I think that's a great idea, one of you fans should start one in the Good Shit forum. Smiley_emoticons_wink
Done.

I hate having to pay so much money for sheets, hate it.
I agree! We have a California King and the good sheets are a fortune.....but you gotta have them.

*sigh* Yes. There is no getting around it or doing it on the cheap. With sheets you get exactly what you pay for. I was looking for a bargain but that ain't happening. Bah.
Someone once bought me a set of sheets that they foolishly left the price tag on. They paid $13.50 for a set of queen sized sheets. It felt like I was sleeping on cardboard. They lasted one night. I tried to turn them into rags, even. They weren't even good for that. Some things you just have to pay for, since its worth it.
Sheet have to be egyption cotton at least 600 thread count or they are crap. And they are expensive! But I want to be comfortable while I sleep.

Do you wash your new sheets before you put them on your bed? I do but my friend puts them on right out of the package. I can't do that. They smell funny and they are softer after a wash and a rinse with Downey.

Yeah, I do, I wash everything like that (linens) before I use them in my home.

My girlfriend told me a funny story about buying sheets the day she expected to bring a new love interest home, she didn't wash them first and I think they might have been cheap sheets because that night while rolling around in bed & working up a sweat they became covered in the dye used on the sheets, she said they were blue like smurfs.
I always wash them, I'm scared somone had them and took them out and then repacked them.
hah
I always thought that "wash before using" message went without saying. I guess I was wrong.
The_VillagersI wash most everything before using. There are rare exceptions. I thought it was a given. Maybe that's what I watched my mom do; who knows. Sometimes there is sizing and/or other chemicals on the fabric. If water beads up on the fabric, it probably has some type of protective coating. I always wash fabric before I use in a sewing or craft project (so paint or dye will adhere or penetrate). This made me think of something I saw on Pinterest.

"How to make your tees feel vintage soft"
1 qt. of water
12 cup salt
Brine your t-shirt in salt water for 3 days. Machine wash and tumble dry.

I want to try this. I suppose it would work on most fabrics. Jeans perhaps. I stongly believe that a t-shirt is not a t-shirt. The feel means everything. I can't frickin stand those stiff t-shirts when the sleeves stick up like I'm taking flight. Need to test on a junky shirt first cuz I imagine there might be some significant fading, but, then again, that's how I like um'. And speaking of t-shirts, I can't wait to try and make a t-shirt rug I saw on Pinterest. Easy-peasy, no sew and I can use up the kazillions of tees we have, especially if they're stained or no longer wearable. Anybody into Pinterest? I'm hooked! Can't stop! Somebody help me!
I'd like to see this t-shirt rug when you make it.
I have no idea how those little devils got on my post??? lol they were not meant to be there! I'd love to post my creation when I'm done, I'll just have to get some 10 year old show me how to get the pics off my digital camera on to the computer and then from the computer to here.
I really wish the little tree in my yard hadn't died. It was so pretty in the fall.

As I approached my car this morning I saw there were several bullet holes in her. I damn near had a fuckin' coronary. Some wise ass had stuck several fake ones on my door and down one side.
Waited for remote on-line tech support (bought a two year subscription) from GeekSquad for over an hour. When I finally got an agent dialogue box, he asked how he could help. I told him 48 minutes ago - no answer. Afraid to log out because I'm having trouble accessing most sites and don't want to go to the back of the queue if I get back in. Hate being in limbo; just tell me it's gonna take a while longer and I'll get it. But, nothing.

I did read the infamous Quaker Rice Cakes thread for the first time while waiting though. Smiley_emoticons_razz
