Man did I get some beautiful slabs out of that tree!!
Make some outdoor furniture.
I just finished slicing up some memosa small slabs, but holy crap what a beautiful grained wood that stuff is.
Next is the Pecan and pistachio, and then the fig wood.
I have enough wood to keep me busy making expensive stuff for awhile.

I would like a small table, sanded smooth, no stain just a clear finish so I can see the wood. Thanks!
I would Duchess but my wife wants a cedar
casket chest I have just enough wood to make a medium sized one for her.
I bought a watermellon and will bring it to work monday with paper plates.
It's been really windy today and it's been making that weird and creepy moaning noise around my windows.
I'm here--just nursing a hangover.
If I "owned" Dick last night, I'm disowning him today.
Moonie is still a dumb bitch though.

If you owned me last night it's forever, you're a very lucky girl.
I was reading in the paper today about two brothers that were arrested for robbery. Their names amused me:
Carvel Rayshawd Crane and Carl Rayshon Crane.

Good Irish names.
I just busted my ass in the yard. I canopied a huge tree and cut three huge laurel bushes down to size (I hope they don't miss their leaves). I have dirty fingernails and smell of chainsaw grease. If I were a man, I would go hump something now.
LC, I have taken a trip through the Shenandoah Valley. I fell in love with mountain laurel, too. These weren't mountain laurels, though. Some other kind of evergreen laurel.
Are you a plant person? I saved some five foot cuttings I was going to try to propagate. Know anything about getting them to root?
all i know is there is some rooting powder you can use to propagate. i'm no plant genius, but i do garden. i know you've seen the gardening thread. Maggot is good at that stuff.
Aw. I wanted to put them around the perimeter of the front yard. I have a HUGE pile of cuttings. I will concentrate on the smaller ones...
