It's lunchtime. Don't feel like a sammich. No leftovers. Really feel like a bowl of Ice cream and a shit ton of ice magic, but my kids left an empty container in the freezer. Genuine first world problem right there, but I couldn't be assed finding that thread. Almost put it in the butt hurt thread, but ice cream and butt hurt is just sacrilege.

Funny story. I keep my dog in my bathroom while at work. If I don't, she will roam the house and poop downstairs. It's a very large bathroom and she is ok with it it. She won't poop in there.
Well, for the last 3 days, when I get home, she is out of the bathroom and running around. The first day, I thought maybe I had mistakenly forgot to shut the door to my bathroom. So The next morning i made sure to put her in the bathroom and shut the door.
Sure as shit, when I got home she is running around the house and she took a dump downstairs. I asked my husband if we still had an extra key hidden outside because I am afraid someone is coming in to let my dog out. He thinks I'm nuts. So this morning, same routine, I feed the dog, let her out to do her business and put her water bowl in the bathroom and shut the door.....tight.
She was out again when I got home
My husband installed a camera on the door hoping to catch some paranormal activity. I don't get it. It's kind of creeping me out now.

No, it is a door knob. I'm blonde, but not a fucking ignoramus. And she would have to turn the knob with her paws and pull the door open to get out. It's impossible.

Is the door open or closed when you get home?

It's summer there right? If your door latch isn't locking a long way into the striker plate, the roof of your house gets warm, expands, makes the frames move a bit and the latch pops out of the striker and the door opens...

Sorry, that was snotty of me. I should have mentioned I have tried to figure it out all night. I tried experiments with the door. I swear I don't know how she is getting out. My initial thought is my creepy neighbors are coming in while I'm not At home to sniff my panties or do something with my shampoo. But you would think the would put the dog back up to cover their tracks. Im setting the alarm tomorrow.

No it is cold here. 30s at night and 60s in the day.

Put a piece of tape across the door/jamb at the top. Enough to hold it and see what happens..
