i have said all along that Mock has members who are principals or otherwise related to the case. they don't always want to speak in public.

Where I beg to differ with you on Sam being a great dad.... A great dad would never put somebody else's child at risk. First of all playing pimp, waiting in car with Starla's ( what was she then, maybe 2) daughter, while Starla went into the hotel to get her groove on with (unknown to them the FBI) a John? Which then put Starla & Sam in the care of CSB, which Sam refused to do what was asked. I know at this point this is more, why would Starla put her daughter in that situation, but a GOOD dad would not have allowed this, IMO. [/color][/size]
A good dad would try to protect children who are not his also, when in his care!
Sam has made threats to atleast 5 people that I know of, and let me tell you, I do not run with these people! Not just kick your Ass threats, more like I will kill you threats!
Starla lost her 2 children to their fathers because she wouldn't do as CSB, wanted....and Sam's baby is where? I do know this is not his total fault, Starla is to blame for her own actions! But as a parent let me tell you, I would do ANYTHING to keep my children, even if that meant I had to leave my spouse! ( which he wasn't her husband at the time....) She married him knowing she would lose her kids over it!
How would Sam feel if he had a daughter and somebody limped her?
If Sam was so innocent he would not be where he is.
I know it is hard on you and your son and I am sorry for that!

i just want to re-emphasize how troubling it is that someone with a son did this to someone else's son. i feel like all of this talk about sw caring for his son puts some of this in another light.

I sincerely wish you all the best for bringing up your son and for the day you have that conversation with him about his father. For what my opinion's worth, you sound like you genuinely want to help him through it all and from other posters comments it sounds like you made the choice to take him out of a potentially bad situation for his best interests, so I respect you for that.

I hear you in regards to the whole drug life/scene. I got exposed to that scene a few years ago, due to the long time best friend of my fella's being a dealer. I know what you mean about the occupational hazards of dealers, the risk of violence, raids, paranoia etc. We got the late night phone calls from his friend when he'd been beaten up/robbed etc and all the hassle and shit that goes with it. We were lucky, we were in small town England, not big city USA, so I doubt the scene was quite as violent or as big time here. We were lucky that we got away from it all in the end, my fella was really loyal to his childhood friend until he realised that his friend only cared about drugs and would rip my fella off if it served his purpose in the blink of an eye. It was far too long a time coming though IMHO!

I know other posters are finding it hard to understand that you have spoken up for Sam, but I can kind of see why you have. If, on the whole, your own experiences of dealing with him in regard to your son haven't been too bad (I know you said there were incidents when you first seperated, but you moved on from there) and he was good in regards to your son (and you want him to maintain some sort of relationship with him) and your relationship happened before he was involved in the pimping and shit like that, then you are basing your opinion on what you experienced. Whatever he did or was involved with away from you and after your relationship ended was his choice and not what you experienced with him. As I say, I can understand why you stood up for him and why you may think he isn't capable of the crimes he's been locked up for.

I can also get that you don't talk to him about his case. I can imagine that you only get a very limited chance to talk and your priority is of course going to be talking about your son.

Which IMO is what causing her for her ranting on and wanting people to feel sorry for her because of the choices she made causes her guilt in various ways

If Lisa and Johnny's deaths were 'occupational hazards' of their lifestyle, live by the gun die by the gun kinda thing... Then the same goes for Sam. He lived a life of douchebaggery that obviously caught up with him.. I think calling him a 'good father' is a stretch.... There's more to being a good parent then picking their kids up for the weekend, coloring with them, etc HE put his son in this predicament. And IMO, if he was a good father, making good choices for his son, then he wouldn't have made the choices he did that landed him in jail....

Now of course all that's my OPINION. Everyone's opinion on what constitutes a ' good dad/parent' is completely different. I get it!

OK, I just talked to Mustang. He will be at the court house at 1:30pm. I know that he has other important things to attend to tomorrow afternoon. Because of that, I can't say when we'll hear from him, but I'm sure we will.

Not sure why Lisa's parents are not. I always wondered if they were a little embarassed that they had this thug-Johnny in their house. Not trying to judge them, but it has crossed my mind.

As harsh as what you wrote sounds, its the truth and I agree with you on this Duchess.

I did have sympathy for maytee at the beginning, but her constant threats against the families of those involved in the court case and her rantings at a couple of members here made me lose any sympathy I had. I feel sorry for her younger sons being dragged up in that environment.

She was lucky Williams got convicted given that she and her family members did their damndest with their antics to wreck the cases. I'm not suprised she wasn't called to give evidence at the trial and I'm glad the judge had the smarts to keep them out.

I don't know how many of you guys know of the murders of Channon Christian & Christopher Newsom in 2007? Basically it was one of the most horrific cases I have ever read about. The two sets of parents had to listen to the most appalling evidence in 5 seperate trials and they never resorted to the bad behaviour Maytee and co did. If they could do that then Maytee should have been able to behave to get her son and Lisa justice.

Yeah, it would have to work both ways and Sam being locked up is the result of his lifestyle too IMHO.

I think Green Frog is talking about him being a good father to her son, in the way he is with their son and based upon her experiences alone. Or at least that's what I got the impression she meant by what she said. I could be wrong though.
