That Johnny and Lisa would go back and forth is not surprising. I agree with LC it makes no difference, though. I know I feel very sorry for Maytee thinking she might have prevented this if they had been at her house. The truth is that we cannot protect our loved ones all the time, as much as we'd like to. I hope that Maytee and the Straubs don't dwell on these thoughts. The fault lies with the killers and nobody else.

This is getting awkward, imo.
If I knew Maytee personally, I would have no problem letting her know that the comment about JsMom was out of line. It would not, however, lessen my compassion and understanding for Maytee. How the parent of a murdered child doesn't lose their mind amazes me. I think she gets angry and says things she wouldn't ordinarily say. I get that.
There was a mother of a molested child, in California, who killed her son's molester on the courthouse steps. I was 100% supportive of her. Dumbass jury wasn't and sent her to prison.

I know Maytee is going through a lot too. Maybe she's talking from the heart and not really thinking how it will affect the family of the victim. That's fine.. I was just saying that's what bothered me the most. I never said Maytee cares about what I said or anything, I'm sure she doesn't.
