Probably making too much of it, but gathering DNA swabs, throughout the house, makes it sound like lots of blood, maybe ?? Why not say, gathering fingerprints? I'm letting my mind wander...

maybe they took the dinar for possible prints? i would guess they were out somewhere and they maybe thought they'd been handled by whomever ransacked the room.

This is absolutely what gets me, being a parent of 2, how do you ever even begin to understand something like this, when just a moment ago, they had everything ahead of them, and then you hear plastic bags over their heads and now God knows what else... I would be so devastated I don't even know if I could recover! I really wish the Clarkes and Straubs some peace if only for a moment! The 2 most horrible ways anyone could imagine to find out too, Johnny's father finds them and the Straubs are on their 25^th anniversary trip and had just left!!

Every article and every friend says Johnny did not get along with his mother.
Some say they did not even speak. How then would she know where the
key to Straub's house is and see people use it several times? She has
stalked before, I stay she stalked this house I am not saying she set up
her son but I am saying he was at the wrong place at the wrong time
and he was the direct link to her. So when the 'stash' was not in the house
when the folk to whom Maytee and possibly John owed big money to,
then the "if it takes a 100 years" philosophy took life.

Note - I always thought Johnny knew the first person (if what Tiff says is
true) but did not know the second person. In gangs, friends and enemies
can be one and the same.

PS. I will find it, but I trul believe that Maytee was the VERY first
person to say the word "safe" in the polie and tv interviews. That was
the red herring to me.

totally curious... i completely see your reasons for thinking maytee had even a little bit of something to do with this. i have to admit my mind has wandered that way a few times... BUT what keeps sending me back to another direction is tiff. she's full of it. her stories change and don't add up and i don't see the connection between tiff and maytee so i can't see how they are BOTH involved.
as a side note... IMO i think maytee is deranged and from what i've gathered through others' testimony etc... she seems as though she was probably a terrible mother and example to her children.

I flip flop a lot, about Maytee, but I still think it's odd she said the bodies were "in the basement" ??? I asked yesterday, if the bodies were found in the living/dining/kitchen area .... I THOUGHT the Uncle said that's where they were, but I could be wrong. If they were, why on earth would Maytee say clearly, they were in the basement?

I am really curious as to why LE is stating that the couple was murdered between 1am-4am.

Tiffany was supposedly on the phone around 11pm when things began to happen. So, does this mean that they are discrediting Tiffany's timeline, or do they believe the killers were there for 2+ hours before killing Lisa and Johnny??

Also, I believe the bodies were discovered at 3:50am, and were already cold to the touch.

I'm just confused as to why the possible time of death begins at 1am instead of 11pm.

I was just told to be careful and to keep my doors locked because the police have a suspect that lives a few streets away. They questioned the neighbors as to when they last saw him and said he is a suspect in a double homicide. They have been there several times to arrest him and he has not been home. I can't believe this! I was just told to be careful and keep my doors locked 2 weeks ago because there was a murder suspect a few streets away. The next thing I knew the area was swarming with undercover agents and dogs..... They arrested the man that shot and killed his boss from that fork lift company that very evening!

Believe me the thought has crossed my mind more than once. I've lived here for four years and during this time it's been very peaceful. It's just been the last few weeks that it's gotten a little crazy. Someone busted the neighbors door in a few weeks ago at 8 in the evening. I heard the noise. It sounded like a car crash it was so loud. She was in bed(she has to get up early) and came out yelling "What the hell" It scared them and they took off.. She doesn't own any modern eletronics and has a 15 yr old tv. She said she's going to put a sign up that says if you want my tv just ask... Don't break my door. How Sad!!!

From what I was told he knows he's a suspect and has been hiding out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that if this guy has anything to do with the case they'll find him soon.
