I've been reading and this has been eye opening. At first you have to feel for Maytee but then as you read the shit she posts it becomes clear she's tried to make this about herself. It's sick and pitiful. People like that are the reason I moved out of South Toledo and eventually the Toledo area all together.

Been reading through this trying to catch up and getting so fucking pissed as I do!!!! I add in my vote...Maytee is a fucking cunt! Lisa's family is there, they were in court, they are not vacationing, they are wonderful classy people who are COMPLETELY aware of every word she is saying and absolutely do not want to be in the same room with her. And she better quit attacking Uncle Jim cause he is very intelligent and no one to get in a verbal battle of the wits with...Maytee they all have your number...they just have class and want to honor their precious Lisa and allow justice to occur with dignity. Plus Maytee's family who claims to know the evidence is full of SHIT...the Straub's still don't know anything about SW or what the evidence is and they are decent, intelligent people...no way is it possible LE would share anything with the Maytee clan and not the Straubs....Maytee U are a psycho lying bitch and U better quit attacking the Straub family, they are a very loving family and YOU are the evil one!!!

Hey, MikeyA. We give folks in Ohio a hard time here for the fun of it, but we grew to love (okay, tolerate) some of them. hahaha

We are snarky here, for sure, but it is a cozy board full of people who have the same temperament. She doesn't need to read here. In fact, if it upsets her, she shouldn't. That she posts vitriol on her memorial facebook, then erases it like it didn't happen, is crazy enough.

Her treatment of the Straubs is unconscionable. I didn't keep up with this thread for the longest time, but when I saw her doing that, I had to say something. It is just wrong. She is victimizing them in a big way and we all hope the prosecutor's office puts a muzzle on her soon, at least in regards to Lisa and her family.

My heart goes out to them. I want people in Toledo to know what that creepy woman is doing to them. Or maybe it is best if they don't know...

Williams pleads not guilty to murders

TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - Samuel Williams, accused of murdering John Clarke and Lisa Straub in a Springfield Township home Jan. 31, pleaded not guilty on all charges during a court appearance in Lucas Co. Common Pleas court.

The 24-year-old Toledo man is facing two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated burglary in connection to the crime. He was arrested Thursday and was arraigned on Friday.

Mr. Clarke and Ms. Straub were found dead in the basement of a Springfield Township home in the early morning hours of Jan. 31. The 20- and 21-year-old victims died of asphyxiation. Their hands were bound and plastic bags were taped over their heads.

Family members of Clarke said they are pushing for the death penalty if Williams is found guilty.

"I want this guy, our face to be the last face he sees when he's laying on that bed, getting injected and being put to death," said Maytee Vasquez-Clarke, mother of Mr. Clarke.

A trial date for Williams has been set for sometime in January.

well i said a while back this could drag out a long time. this is not a shoplifting charge. there is discovery to be done, and it is to defendant's advantage to delay in a possible DP case. DA has not yet announced whether it will be a death case. i have seen people await trial for years. trust me, there will be delays and continuances unless it is pleaded out.
