Please ignore the prior post I screwed it up:

John was busted with a massive amount of Pot. Somewhere around a half a million dollars worth. Prior to his bust though...Maytee and John were involved in amounts of raids where DEA and FEDS raided them. The Clarkes have lways used young thugs to deliver their product, therefore they would be taking all of the risks. John was the muscle while Maytee was always in charge and calling the shots. They were street pushers of pot, crack, cocaine and pills. They seem to want to take over where other family members left off after the drug cartel that they were in was busted and they all went to prison.

I would like to know as well when they both originally provided DNA which was "hit"....awhile into Cameo's arrest interrogation they told him they hit on his DNA and then asked for a swab to verify - which he did without hesitation. It was pretty clear during his interrogation he thought they were just trying to get him to "give up" more info on Sam, didn't even occur to him during bulk of the interview that they were actually accusing him too.

No I don't have anything twisted the only evidence against them was the cigarette. There was absolutely no other evidence against either one. As for the testimony from Eric why did that mean so much in Sams case why would they not use him in cameos? My guess is bc it was BS
Things he said didn't add up. How did they call cams brother when he was in jail, why would this Guy wait to speak up if he knew that whole time and they never looked at Sam until the DNA matched. The facts that Eric did use were things that were public the safe the money how they died, just bc he was already sentence doesn't mean he didn't have anything to gain. The detectives offered him a plea bargain he openly admitted to that. Sam called Cameo first bc he knew there was money on the phone he knew he would be able to reach someone for sure. As for the conversation they had not sure, I don't know why a past polygraph test, no evidence on the weapons used isn't enough for ppl to comprehend that cameo is innocent.

The facts are there is no evidence saying he killed them. He passed a polygraph test I'm sure they asked him if he was there if he knew them so on. What facts do you know about cameo on a personal level and about this case. Please share your facts since I seem not to know the person I was with for 8 yrs.

Yes, ma'am, you do indeed have things twisted Shell.

What I know about Cameo on a personal level is a matter of public record. I know he is a pimp, a drug dealer, and has been arrested for domestic violence and assault on numerous occasions. As far as knowing him "personally," of course I don't. I am educated, well-spoken, have a full time job and no criminal record. I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say we probably don't hang out in the same social circles.

I have, however, followed this case since Day 1 and have read every piece of documentation that is listed on the Lucas County - Dockets Online site (for both Sam and Cam), and I would suggest you do the same. Perhaps then you will stop basing your opinion of the case on your personal feelings about Mr. Pettaway, and will instead start using the facts. You may be surprised to know that the site actually gives a word for word transcript on portions of the jailhouse phone calls and police interrogations. Phone calls that you claim did not even occur, I might add.

And just for fun - (since you think your dear, sweet Cam who beats women could never commit such a heinous crime) You do know that if Cameo was AT Longacre that night, even if he sat in the car the whole time, he is still guilty, right?

I would be willing to bet the farm that the BTK killer,s wife thought she knew him too.

So you need to understand the "facts" you are reading. You are the one being ignorant. Like you said you don't know him you only go by what you read. I go by what I know and live on a day to day basis. You say cameo was a pimp drug dealer. Where on any documents does it say he was guilty of such things. He has drug use and domestic violence the rest of his charges are driving. Since you don't associate with his type why are you on here talking about him? Until you sit down and have a conversations with him I don't think you should judge him. You can't always believe what you read there is always more to a story. An just bc he put his hands on ppl don't make him capable of murder. These kids were not beaten to death. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion but I base my post on facts that were presented by all parties involved in this case.

I never said the calls between them didn't happen since Sam was incarcerated, in Eric's testimony he stated" they went to share a cigarette n to call cams brother to figure out what to do" cameos brother was in jail the time of the murder there is absolutely no way they could have called him so he lied about that. I have already explained what the other phone calls between Sam n steve were about. Yes they seemed incriminating but it had nothing to do with the murder. An to make it clear I am not using my personal feelings while posting on this thread. I believed he was innocent from the day he was arrested all bc I know him I know the FACTS. Sorry if you don't get that. Just remember I have been through this trial in person I have dealt with this since he was arrest not just reading about it.

In Sam's trial, Eric's testimony is a report of a conversation with the defendant and is therefore admissible.

In Cameo's trial, Eric's testimony would be hearsay because it was not a conversation directly with the defendant and therefore would be inadmissible. It has nothing to do with things not adding up.

Once again I'm not sticking up for him I'm stating the facts and truth. You want answers I'm giving them to you, if you don't like what I have to say then don't ask. You have ur opinion based of things you read. I base mine on pure facts. He don't just go out n beat the shit out of women. These charges are from ppl he was involved with and just bc he has dvs don't mean he put his hands on a women, I cam tell you my experience I have called the cops due to a dispute between us n remove him from our home until we both cooled down but with him being on the lease I would have to press charges. As for Sam the evidence show he didn't commit this crime either. I didn't follow his trial due to being preoccupied with cameos. I heard from other witnesses in the prosecutors office telling me that they know he wasn't there, and these were friends of the victims I'm sure they want justice served as well they just aren't as hard headed as the rest of you that can't except their innocence.

as i said Mikey, i can't cite particular errors w/o Ohio statutes and trial transcript in front of me. but i do not doubt appellate lawyers are working on it. in my opinion it will come down to admissibility and credibility. i think he may win a new trial one day.

The attorneys did appeal this and they told Sam it would be 3-7yrs. I have been told that he has hired a new attorney and that the appeal process won't take that long.

The way Shell sticks up for these hoodrats, curious to know maybe your DNA was at the scene... really no talking to you.. I am assuming you know everything for a fact.... therefore whatever has happened in Camel's world isn't his fault...my ex husband was one abusive man, and I would lie and deny "till I was blue in the face" to protect him too.... I only hope you do not have children......because children learn what they live!

On a roll today!!!!!!!!!!!

It is messed up that there are still more questions than answers.

A couple of things I found today concerning Tony Watson. He was busted with ZB a few months after the murders with packaged percocets. Another thing is that his girlfriend was the young lady that overdosed on percocets a few months back. She was also his girlfriend at the time of the murders.
