Greenfrog, First of all, welcome to Mock! You sound like you are doing a great job and your son is blessed to have a mom who works hard and it sounds like you are dedicated to providing the best life you can for son and other children. I know some of the previous post were a bit harsh but please do not be put off by them! No one knows you or your situation. and where do statistics come from anyway? I have always wanted to know how they can possibly be accurate since no one has ever knocked on my door and did a survey, and if they come from public records, there are no public records for my family- so who is gathering these numbers and where do they come from? For whoever is counting, I am 1 of 5 children, my mother was a drug addict. Only 1 of her kids ended up on drugs and was felon, he died from drugs. The oldest is a certified body trainer who is married to an engineer for Lockheed-Martin, the other is a supervisor for a machine shop in Houston, the youngest works for a Stockbroker firm in downtown Houston and is also part owner of a bar in downtown Houston, and I work for a video development company who creates video games, none of us are on public assistance. Now, they can recalculate the totals, and I know plenty of other families I could add in there that would alter those numbers, so your son has every chance of having a productive life and does not have to end up a felon, or on assistance. It would not be a bad idea to meet with a counselor and ask them what you should tell your son about his dad, and when to tell him because at some point kids at school or in the neighborhood will tell him about his dad, and probably not very nicely, and it is probably best he hears it from you first and understands the situation and is prepared. I know this cannot be a easy situation and I do pray for you and your family. I know you and MikeyA got off to a rocky start, but he is normally one of the most intellectual and well spoken posters on here,and I do think he was a bit unfair towards you since he does not know you or your situation, so I hope he does not scare you off. Although most killers do have a history of violence before they kill, and that would be what people see most often, there are plenty of cases where people just wake up one day and kill people. One recent example is James Holmes who shot and killed people in the movie theater in Colorado. Not a single bit of criminal history on him at all. Turns out he was a mental patient, but those records are private and would not have been found on a background search. If I recall, the Columbine shooters erupted into violence without any criminal history as well. So while I do agree that violence does tend to escalate, it can certainly come out of nowhere unexpectedly. I am sure you could not have ever imagined that the man you once loved would ever end up involved in something like this. Many prayers to you and your family.

The reason I believe Cam is involved is the cigarette butt and the phone calls. Lets start with the jail house calls. I would want to know who they were charged with killing, did they know the person? why do the police think they are involved? are they involved? None of that happened in this phone call. Cam got on that phone and he knew exactly what was up, and what was going on. That is very telling. No questions asked at all.

The cigarette butt- now I know that it has been argued that someone could have planted it there to frame Cam and Sam, but then we have to entertain the fact that all along this was intended to be a murder and not a robbery. If it was a robbery, police usually do not check for DNA, it cost more money to run DNA samples for people than it does to replace the stolen property, so there is no reason for people to plant DNA to set up Cam and Sam for a robbery. So then we must have a planned homicide instead. So if this was a planned homicide, the only weapon that the killers brought to the crime scene was a roll of duct tape? we have learned the bags used came from the home, so the weapon they brought was a roll a duct tape? Then it must have been planned by a fucking retard, and who is a retard? That would be Cam, so all evidence still points to him!

I've had a request from the Straub family to ask Mocker's for assistance. They are well aware of all the support they have had here and are hoping some are moved to help.

Williams is currently in the Orient Correctional Facility in mid-Ohio. Orient is where felons are processed, and a determination is made as to where they will serve their sentence. Williams and his family are requesting that he be allowed to serve his time at the Toledo Correctional Facility so that he can be near family.

It has been suggested to the Straub family that they, and anyone else affected, write the warden and request he serve his time as far away as possible. He deserves no special treatment after the crimes he's been convicted of, as well as his refusal to cooperate and bring his accomplices to justice.

I agree he should not have an oppurtunity to be near family! I too, will write a letter... the Straub's cant visit their daughter, why should this monster have an opportunity to see his family?

I may not be the best writer but I sure am going to give it my all for the Straubs. I'm in.

I don't know the time frame. The sooner the better I guess. Like LC, I'm not sure it will do any good, but it certainly can't hurt. And I know Mary Beth is grateful for any help we can provide and appreciates all the support they have from Mocker's. I don't know if she checks in here or hears from someone else, but she is aware of what goes on here.

Count me in and it cannot hurt to try. Perhaps I will feign concern for Sam's safety. Afterall, Maydoo is as crazy as soup sandwich and has conjured up demons from all corners of hell to go after these maggots, and Big John has been bench pressing Diesel trucks, just waiting to get his hands on these guys... The further away these criminals are the safer they are! I will throw that in with a few other good reasons why it is just not right for them to have their family, when the victims families no longer do! I will send it off tomorrow!
