JMO but I never thought Lisas uncle would go on TV & say she was partially clothed. She may have just had on her uniform shirt & was in the process of changing into the interband pants. Also in the 3
rd 911 call Maytee says something to the effect of: He only has pants on. What if she heard & relayed that message wrong.... just like the basement. What if it was really suppose to be stated, SHE DOESN'T have pants on? Also I think that because her ankles weren't bound like Johnnys, we've had to question why & a sexual assault makes sense.
Again JMO

That's interesting, I hadn't heard that before & I hope that is the true version of things. Thanks for sharing Dick
The murders took place on a Sunday night, right? The perps weren't from the area, so I think they could have brought the tape from their own home, had some in the car already (from other crimes), or bought it somewhere local to where they lived before they set out on their mission.

On Sunday...
Sams Club closes at 6pm
Menards closes at 8pm
Home Depot closes at 7pm
Walmart is the closest place that is open 24⁄7
They could have got it earlier on, but I highly doubt it. However, I agree with your comment onefortheroad.

Again... I think it is very likely that the murderers STOLE the duct tape. If they're off to kill or commit a crime why would they be so moral as to actually pay for the duct tape????

because it's beyond stupid to get busted on a shoplifting misdemeanor when you're about to commit some felonies.
duct tape is so common. it could have been brand new or a roll 2 years old.
the forensics will tell us later whether it contained prints and DNA, which is what's important.
there are cases where the origin of the tape matters, in connecting it with a certain person. matching rolls. i.e. the casey anthony case. we'll see at trial. or in search warrant affidavits if/when they come out.

Never said it was stolen the day of the murders, it could have been stolen or purchased at any time. I agree w/another poster that this part of the investigation is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Yes, I absolutely know that the origin of this duct tape matters, but like you said, who knows how long the killers had it. They may have even used it for practice before hand- who the hell knows? I wouldn't put anything past these people. And as far as being "beyond stupid," I don't consider anyone that commits a murder to be bright, but these people obviously did know what they were doing as it appears they did not leave their DNA all over the crime scene.
KFran: it appears they did not leave their DNA all over the crime scene.
we don't know that for a fact. i believe there IS DNA evidence.

According to another local mock member the DNA came back and it was only Lisa's DNA and it was blood not semen!
I want to be clear that I never said it was blood.

Also, depending on the origin of the duct tape, there may be several DNA donors -- not all of which may belong to the killers.
I just wanted to add, since I haven't read it yet on this thread, has anyone noticed Lisa's new "badge" on myspace? If Tiffany is telling the truth, which everyone doubts, she was on the phone with Johnny around 11 pm 1/30. So, if she heard a commotion at that time, how did Lisa earn a profile searching badge on 1/31? I have to admit, I am not very familiar with myspace, so I am not sure if it posts automatically or not. But still, someone should have seen that.

I believe I discussed this hundreds of pages ago. The info will not come out until the trial. I would appreciate if I got no more PM's asking if she was raped, or tortured. I will not be revealing any very personal info. I apologize. I know you are all anxious to know.
how sad to see her myspace, full of life, fun and hopes.
Could someone explain to me the psychology behind cutting Lisa's
tongue? Does that mean she was a snitch or does it mean that it
was her tongue used instead of someone else's or to send some
message to someone?
Killing is final. Why all the drama around it?

It doesn't look to me as if she actively was using her MySpace account. That bad could have been issued several years ago (as it didn't specify Jan 31, 2011).
Moreover, a friend or family member could have been logged in and going through it -- post-murder.

They sell duct tape at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Dollar Stores and most grocery stores also. I feel for whoever had to investigate this portion of the case. Like finding a needle in a haystack!
+ a lot of gas stations carry it too.
I spoke with a Hispanic friend this wkend who has relatives he suspected were in the Cuban mafia...he said there was no way any of them would ever "mess with family members"...if they had a problem with you, they dealt with you directly.
