If I were in the Straub's shoes, I would not take time off of work just to go to a 5 min. arraignment. I would save all of the sick and vacation days that I could so that I could be present everyday at the actual trial. The arraignment is nothing. The trial is everything.

Poor Straub family? BOTH families are "poor" given what happened to their children, yet only one family has any sympathy here? The Clarke family has been dragged through the mud for your collective entertainment, from day one.

What Maytee said from the beginning is that her son was not connected to the murders. She said this because not only did the media immediately point to him, but because TW was a friend of Lisa's. And, because she had concerns that Lisa reportedly violent X was involved. I never heard her blame Lisa or the Straubs. She talked about the "demons" responsible from the beginning. She also retaliated against the incognito assaults and innuendo here and other places.

Who thinks like me? My position is that both families deserve compassion and sympathy given the horror they've experienced. I would venture to guess that most Americans think like me, in this regard.

Sympathy? Here?

She said various things after numerous, vile comments about her were made here for the past several months. People were taunting her here, all along. If someone was emailing her children sick, twisted things, she may have assumed it was someone from Mock under the circumstances. In fact, if it happened, it may have been a member here. Mods here, have no way of knowing who Mock members email or not.

Regardless, I'm willing to cut her some slack given what she's gone through.

She made a simple statement of fact after Kitty and other members of the Straub family implied various things about her, here. 1. Her family is the only family that has been in court thus far, and 2. the kids would be alive if they hadn't been at the Straub home that night. That's not placing blame. That's a simple fact. Saying "they died because of Johnny's big mouth" on the other hand, IS placing blame. I don't fault her for defending her son, sorry.

I can't believe you're offended about subtle comments regarding the Straubs, while you openly taunt a grieving Mother and verbally piss on her son's grave.

netsleuth, have you seen the video on youtube were Johnny is talking drug deals? Seems to be videotaped at the home of one of johnny's friends from the southside. It was posted up just before Williams was arrested. Jesus Christ. Johnny was telling friends that he could get them illegal drugs. And, it was video taped. I bet his friends and family want justice, and want the big answers. But why lie? What purpose do the lies serve?
