I don't LIKE this scenario, but I have to go with what LE released - "not random", "not a robbery" "professional" "drug related". That's really all we have to go on, now, unless something else is released. If this was a professinal hit, then in my mind, the perps wore gloves.
It is very difficult to use duct tape with gloves on. Jus sayin

It was perfect.
I think LE implied they brought it on themselves with this statement
instigated by actions of the victims.
Am I reading more than should be into that?

Maybe Lady Cop can answer.
i'm sure there was plenty of DNA, prints and trace evidence left at scene. but you have to have those things in a database to match them up. and even then, you need circumstantial evidence to put them there.
and was that evidence there legitimately? the party the night before. Johnny's dad handling bags and tape in his panic upon discovery of the bodies. did anyone else?
that being said, i'm just as surprised as everyone that there have been no arrests yet. but i also believe there will be.
I think there will be too.
I pray that one of the detectives gets this case under his skin and cant
let it go no matter how long it takes to solve it.
I have family and friends in LE, and they do their best in every case, no
doubt, but sometimes a case comes along, and for some reasn, it
becomes personal for them, and never let go til justice is found.

Sure you're right, and that is a stretch it's just have a hard time thinking that DNA collected might not match someone in the nationwide database, which I know only time will tell.

well Dick is a retired LEO, and he and i agree based on experience.
Not retired simply Ex. LEO, with enough years to have seen more than my share of crime scenes and investigations to speculate with more than a just little understanding of what's happening.
Hi Dick,
Please elaborate on a question you posed back in the thread about the kitchen was an unusual place to commit this crime and where something like this would statistically take place.
zero
back bedroom, basement, garage, or some location away from the home.
and back then, in that post, i felt the kitchen was logical since they (the killers) probably entered through garage to kitchen door. and surprised the victims there.

OMG if you do then....
EDUCATE ME ....and tell me How you conduct a ballistics test on a 'tapegun'?

Could the bodies perhaps been moved after-the-fact?

Of course murders can and do happen anywhere this is just MO, and yours is just as credible.
without photo's I don't know if they were found sitting ,contorted from struggling with their bindings, or laying down laid out like they were sleeping.
each provides it's own set of thoughts concerning aspects of the crime.
none of them lead my mind to professionals.

As I take a minute to proof my post...that would be wasting my time, exactly what I just succeeded in doing for all of us.
instigated by actions of the victims.
Ummmm...to me that rules out snitching...Lisa wouldn't have been involved in that ...I'm thinking they owed $$, or fronted drugs and not paid back or gave bad dope? what do you all think?

anything is possible, there is no way for us to know with the info we have.

Take all the time you need. Better you should waste your time and not mine. You may want to take an online refresher course in reading comprehension or go to mime school.

I heartily agree. Hence, I must admit that I have become very discouraged by the statement made by the County Detective to the local board.
I'm worried that they are not being clever, just stupid and ill-equipped training-wise to solve this case.
Ah yes, just another drug killing by phantom professionals. (Bull)
I so hope I am wrong about these County detectives. So wish TPD's DB was in charge.

"I learned from a VERY reliable source today that LE knows who the perps were. Suffice to say that some of the recent contributors here were right on the mark.
I think what they're waiting for is DNA evidence to be returned before any arrests are made.
Sadly, what we have heard about LS being tortured is evidently correct. Worse than we've read here I'm told."
I would also like to note that didn't many of the facebook friends with active warrants for unrelated cases get picked up. loss of liberty is a great motivator to get some questions answered.

Okay, so back to the topic...curious as to what your theory is at this point?
on the way home today from work...on the outbound lanes of the trail (for non locals, it's the ANthony Wayne Trail, 6 lanes, 3 in each direction, major thouroughfare from south, south west, western suburbs into downtown....AND going right through the southside inner city, where most of these characters dwell) are two big, brand new, electronic billboards with Johnny and LIsa's pictures...saying double homicide...please call crimestoppers with any information that you have. this is the first day I've seen them and I make the drive twice a day..... hmmm....
