Thanks pspence. I totally agree. I thinks the Sheriff department getting assistance from the FBI was great. The FBI will and does get there perps. I totally agree they know who did it and are just waiting for all the proof to come in. If there was as much blood as I heard they have to go thru each drop and if there was a struggle I have no doubt that the perps ( more than one IMO) got either bruised or cut( they took knives as evidence, remember) and so all blood has to be tested

I've been so over the board about this...I'm now thinking AG and T didn't have anything to do with it...I've never thought Maytee did - to me that's just nuts - I'd bet $ though it was somebody that was at their party the night before where someone said the neighbors said there were a lot of people there. I think someone was scoping out the place, wanted to rob it...then again, that is about as valuable of an opinion as a quarter and a cup of coffee. I do feel it was someone that was there at their house partying but as to the motive - I'm still not sure. I could sit here all night fellow Mockers but have to hit the sack and get up at the crack of dawn! Gotta go to work! Wished it was with the LE in Toledo...I can't BELIEVE there aren't any LEAKS! If that would have been here there would have been 2 press conferences by now. If I were neighbors I would be sooooo pisssssed they aren't saying "don't be concerned - this was targeted" or SOMETHING!

IMO all we have to go on are the photos that Maytee posted on FB of her & Lisa. They seem to have gotten along well, to have posed in photos together & I haven't heard anything to the contrary.

From what I have heard several times, JC was driving lisa's car because he did not have his own car... and from what I understand the "window" was in the back of the house and someone needed boosted up to see in it.. I believe it was a regular house with basement, middle floor and upstairs... but deff not a foyer you can see pics somewhere on this thread.

It doesn't matter how I know the Clarkes, I have personally known all of them forever...sure Maytee is a little crazy but she is more evil than she is crazy. She is capable of mass destruction on a human. I don't think that she went over to the house with intentions of killing her son and Lisa...I am merely saying that she is with holding information about a double murder involving her son and Lisa.

i already stated this a while back that it would take a while back for them to go through a bunch of the DNA on the evidence and ruling out finger prints and all that. So i am with you on this. I have faith in the LE but that also could be because i have a lot of LE in my family. Again even if they have the DNA back and they don't have a match in the system that means they have to sit on it till they have someone to match it to. If they have a suspect but not enough evidence to get a subpoena to get the DNA sample collected from that person(s) then it has to sit there till the case gets enough evidence built up against the suspects to do so (if that's the case). This could be where you are hearing people saying they are also wanting to build a solid case against someone, you don't want to charge someone with a crime before having all your ducks in a row. they have a right to a speedy trial and if the defendant thinks LE may not have strong enough evidence they will use that "card" sometimes to push the case faster to avoid evidence being "found/collected".

If you're blaming Maytee for her sons murder then how you came to that conclusion & how you know her matters a TON... IMO of course. I don't know Maytee, never claimed to know her. I do know this, I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. I don't see anything she did on the 911 calls to be odd. I do think she knows more than she is telling & it should be pretty self explanitory that she would know more then the average citizen 1) Johnny is her son & she knows him better than anyone else would 2) She was privy to Johnnys private life, friends, personal business etc 3) She was actually at the scene of the crime, Possibly saw with her own eyes the crime scene, bodies etc & if she didn't I'm sure she's spoke to her husband who did & she recieved & made the phone calls from/to Sharita & Tiffany. The fact that she's not blasting EVERY single thing she knows all over the internet doesn't prove guilt to me, what it proves is that it's really none of any of our fuckin business.

I also know this.... Maytee has spoken a lot on her FB pages. Much of what she has said has panned out to be truth. Things that she has said, some of us on here have checked out & things add up. She doesn't seem to be a liar as of yet. You on the other hand have come on here making all kinds of accusations about Maytee & there is nothing to back up your claims that she is evil or that she set up her son or participated in any way in her son & Lisas murder. You've still not even been able to give me a motive as to why this woman you claim to have known forever would participate in this. +1 on that last post Freshbait. Truthbetold obviously has some personal issues with Maytee......Truth - we get it, we hear you - you can't stand the woman. You've made that perfectly clear. And you probably have good reasons not to like her but there is no freakin' way I will believe she is involved until I see some sound evidence.

just open The Toledo Blade and they have an article on the toxicology reports on both Lisa & Johnny. Both had "therapeutic levels" of oxycontin and Vicodin and Johnny also had marijuana. I don't have time before work to post a link but it is available thru Toledoblade.com.

Johnny Clarke and Lisa Straub were discovered bound with plastic bags tied over their heads in Sylvania Township in January.


It is "unlikely" that the young couple found bound with plastic bags over their heads in Sylvania Township in January were drugged by their killers, Lucas County Coroner Dr. James Patrick said.

Toxicology reports, which were released Tuesday, showed Johnny Clarke, 21, had either Percocet or Oxycontin and marijuana in his system. Lisa Straub, 20, had either Percocet or Oxycontin and Vicodin in her system, Dr. Patrick said.

In both Clarke and Ms. Straub the drugs were at "therapeutic levels," with nothing suggesting overdose-type levels, the coroner said.

Although the test does not show what dosage was taken or when, Dr. Patrick said the drugs were probably ingested "a few hours" before they died. "If your thesis is that somebody drugged them and then did this to them, that's unlikely," Dr. Patrick said.

No more tests are expected, Dr. Patrick said.

Clarke's mother, Maytee Vasquez-Clarke, said her son was issued a prescription for Percocet on Dec. 17 for pain from a knee injury he had suffered while playing football at Bowsher High School. Mrs. Vasquez-Clarke said the doctor, whom she did not name, would not confirm the prescription for The Blade.

It is unknown whether Ms. Straub had a prescription for either drug.

Although the coroner said it is unlikely the couple were drugged, Mrs. Vasquez-Clarke said she "doesn't believe that for a second." She said a third person was probably in the Longacre Lane home and perhaps slipped the drugs into the couple's drinks because taking prescription drugs was "out of character for both of them. They didn't take prescription drugs."

Mrs. Vasquez-Clarke said her son probably did have marijuana in his system.

"Every kid I know that age has dabbled with marijuana," she said. "They weren't messing with Oxycontin or Percocet."

Clarke would turn 22 on April 15, Mrs. Vasquez-Clarke said, speaking of her son's birthday in the present tense.

Mrs. Vasquez-Clarke said she calls the sheriff's office at least five times a day, every day, hoping detectives are closer to solving the case and making an arrest.

"I am probably their worst parent nightmare, but justice needs to prevail for these kids," she said. "Only God knows my pain."

The couple were found in the home of Ms. Straub's parents, Jeff and Mary Beth Straub, around 3:50 a.m. on Jan. 31. Clarke's wrists and ankles were bound with duct tape, while Ms. Straub's wrists were bound with duct tape. Both were asphyxiated with plastic bags tied around their necks. The young couple were house-sitting for Mr. and Mrs. Straub while they celebrated their 25^th wedding anniversary in the Caribbean.

Mr. and Mrs. Straub are continuing to live day to day, hoping for case-cracking information to surface, said Jim Verbosky, Lisa Straub's uncle and family spokesman.

"Considering their lives have been thrown apart forever, the whole family, we're a pretty tight-knit family, and everybody's lives are obviously changed," Mr. Verbosky said. "Now we're hoping that something happens as far as, you know, an arrest or whatever, but we're going to continue to let the authorities do what they have to do."

It is important for family members of homicide victims to be completely honest and truthful about the actions, behaviors and lives of the victims. It can only aid and assist LE in solving the case. I think Maytee needs to take a second look and reconsider her responses and beliefs. JMO

I was just rethinking my above post. I guess it is possible that Maytee HAS shared the truth with LE. She could have said to LE "My son and/or Lisa might possibly have been involved with prescription drugs..but I just don't want the public to know about it" I will give her that benefit of doubt. But if she truly believes what she commented to the Blade then she needs to face reality. IMO
