Also, they may mean "professional" in the sense that it was done to send a message to others, like a "Columbian necktie" would. We think hitman and we think of a well dressed guy who flies into town, gets a hotel room, scopes out his prey, and takes them out with a gun with a silencer. In an hour he's on the next flight out. The drug cartels in Mexico are "professionals" but horror is part of their method, unlike the first example. I'm inclined to think that whoever killed Johnny & Lisa was the party who was angry with them, though - not a hired out "job". I think they have killed before, too. Execution seems like an accurate description, to me.

I've got to disagree here. I think the killers were people not known to anyone there, in the Toledo area. After reading what the BCI does, it fits with LE not having anything to actually nail a specific person with. It's been over a month now, & I have to believe any unknown DNA taken from the home, has been checked to a database, with nothing coming from it.
eta... not to say there aren't some folks that know what Johnny was involved in, but IMO, those people will never talk, for fear the same thing will happen to them. Johnny got in way over his head.

ok i had to search for this. he is free to come back anytime. but i think he's a BS artist. everyone, however is free to believe whatever they wish. 
Some of Pink's posts were rather insightful, however I will disagree about the "professional" part until I am proven wrong. What kind of professional uses bags, duct tape & takes a f'n change jar. Something is missing here. Maybe LE has totally stumped the public by not giving out info or misleading info at that. I still don't understand why no real info from LE, no asking for help, other than the 5k reward. Something is definitely amiss....

I don't think it's that uncommon for the BCI to be involved in a case like that. I wouldn't read anything into that. I think that the FBI is involved is MORE telling. I also think that it was just recently that TPD became involved in the investigation...is that cause they're trying to tie a crime (s) that was in the TPD jurisdiction into the JC/LS case? maybe something to do with these latests string of arrests that have been posted recently...
I think the article from the local SPringfield/Holland paper is EXACTLY why there is no "new" information about this case, no buzz, not being talked about etc. it has been chalked up to a drug related crime, and for most of us the "that doesn't apply to me/that won't happen to me" thinking sets in. IT becomes less intriguing (For lack of better word) for most because it's just chalked up to two young beautiful kids murdered for drugs, money, gangs, etc. Live by the gun

I can't remember. My brain is starting to get fried from all this.

I'd never heard of BCI before, but when I read they're sometimes brought in on cold cases, it drew a lightbulb in my head, lol ... I hope this doesn't end up a cold case though, but at the same time I know there are gobs & gobs of unsolved cases, like this... ugh

I am still going with my original theory that Maytee or her husband are involved. She was warned, thats why she immediately called 911 when he didnt answer his phone, she knew what was happening. Someone her family screwed over found Johnny and Lisa alone in the house and unaware they were being targeted, were easy pickings. Maytee and her fake tears are her way of crying out when she knows she is at the root of all of this. She may not know who did it but she knows why.
